美国东部时间2011年7月15日，美国国际转笔论坛UPSB管理员Zombo发布了“World Cup 2012 - Team Registration and General Infomation”帖，向诸位告知各国官方团队参与方式等大致信息。现将英文原文及中文翻译转载如下，请仔细浏览。

World Cup 2012 - Team Registration and General Information

This is for community registration, NOT spinner registration. Contact your local community for more info on how to make the team.

The World Cup 2012 is an international team pen spinning tournament. The goal of the tournament is to determine the team who excels the most in all aspects of pen spinning.

2 N0 Y  G& w% A% M2 X7 G% w9 M9 sThe tournament will begin in January and finish in May or June. The length of the tournament will depend on the number of teams registered. For 8 teams, it will take 5 months. For 16 teams, it will take 6 months.

If the number of teams is between 8 and 16, there will be a qualification round using collabs, as it was done for 2010.

& F& p# F9 f- l+ `The format and rules will be similar to WC2010, except the themes will be simplified. More details to come at the end of the summer.

How to register

Requirements:

- Be able to assemble a team of 6, world-class, spinners
- Have a manager who is good at English (can be part of team)
' f, C3 W& p' O7 @$ P3 _1 ?- Provide at least two competent judges, who understand the rules very well
- Able to translate the rules for the community

IMPORTANT! If your community alone is not able to satisfy these conditions, we invite you to ally yourself with other communities to form a single team.

世界杯2012 - 团队注册及大致信息

此帖为团队注册参与世界杯而设，而非个人注册。如欲代表某联盟参与竞赛，请联系当地联盟论坛。

WC12是一项以团队为单位的国际转笔赛事。此赛事的目的是为了选出哪支队伍在转笔这项运动中展现了最多的层次及方面。

本赛事将于2012年1月份开始，于5月或6月结束。赛事的持续时间将视注册的国家队伍数目而定。如果有8支队伍参赛，那么赛事将持续5个月；如果有16支队伍参赛，那么将持续6个月。

, Q" ]- U: t. A9 m/ ^( M如果注册队伍数量在8至16之间，那么将进行一场联盟合片形式的资格赛，资格赛类似WC10前的资格赛。

WC12的形式与规则将于WC10相似，不过主题设定将进行简化。暑假结束时会有更详细的信息发布。

怎样注册

条件：
& V1 o7 r% @8 P- O* d
- 有能力组织一个由6个世界级转笔者组成的队伍；
- 有一个擅长使用英语的组织经理（可以是队伍中的成员）；
$ c' G+ \; `7 z- 能提供至少两位具有竞争力的裁判，裁判需要对赛事规则非常熟悉；
+ S  u6 W' u  b* p# A$ b- 有能力将赛事规则进行翻译广而告之联盟成员。

注意！！如果你的联盟不能满足以上所有条件，那么我们会邀请你自己与其他联盟商量并加入他们的队伍。

: y2 h( n( v8 ~- 具有资格并愿意出席WC12的裁判数量；
- 组织经理（即擅长使用英语的代表）的联系方式。

注册期间，你并不需要立即找到6个人建立起队伍。最终参赛名单在赛事开始前提交即可。
